Case study · Utility co-operative

A water co-op, off spreadsheets for good.

A member-owned rural water co-operative needed what every small civic organization needs: membership, meetings, records, money, and a map, all run by volunteers with day jobs. We built them one system that does all of it, and we operate it. Full disclosure: this platform is our own product, built and run by us, which is exactly why we can show you every module of it.

Before

The situation

Membership records, board decisions, correspondence, and the books lived in spreadsheets, inboxes, and binders. Every task depended on the one volunteer who knew where things were, and every board meeting started with assembling paper.

The build

What we built

One platform with a public website and a private members area: membership applications, a full meeting console with motions and recorded votes, versioned records, a property map, and a treasurer hub. Delivered module by module, never a big-bang launch.

After

What it changed

One place to look, one place to type. Minutes generate from what actually happened in the meeting, every document keeps its history, the map shows who is where, and the whole archive exports to a zip that works offline. History survives volunteer turnover.

The modules

Click through what's inside.

You don't need to invent your project. Walk the modules of a real system and notice which ones your office is currently doing by hand. Each one maps to a municipal equivalent.

Recognize your office in these modules?

Start with the $999 Check-Up.

We'll review your systems and records, tell you which of these modules you're currently doing by hand, and give you fixed quotes for the ones worth building. The fee credits toward your first project.
